Bible Verse Valentines
When I was putting together our Valentine’s activities this year, I knew that I wanted to incorporate some Bible verses about God’s love for Little. It’s important to me to teach him these things from an early age so that he’ll grow up having God’s word hidden in his heart.
And while I love to celebrate love, I know that ultimately, perfect love is found through Christ alone. Understanding how deeply I am loved by God empowers me to love others well. And I want my boys to know that for themselves one day, too.
So, I put together these 14 Bible verses that talk about God’s love and how we are to love one another. Of course, there are TONS of Bible verses about love, but I decided to do 14 so that we can do one each day of February leading up to Valentine’s Day. My plan is to read our verses at breakfast and hang it on the wall so we can see it throughout the day.

How to Use These Bible Verse Valentine Cards with Your Kids
There are lots of ways to use these cards with your kids this Valentine’s Day! And because we know that God’s word won’t return void, the good news is, there really isn’t a wrong way to use them!
1. Read One Each Day in February Leading Up to Valentine’s Day
Grab one verse each day and read it together while you eat breakfast, or do your regular morning routine. Make sure it stays visible and go back to it throughout the day. Some natural times to read it again might be during meals, when you pray together, before nap/bedtime.
2. Choose Just One Verse to Read Together and Memorize for February
You can also just choose one of these verses and work on memorizing it during the month of February. For younger children, there are a few great, short verses that you can easily teach with lots of repetition. (And I think we could all use a reminder to “Do everything in love.” Am I right?)
3. Play Bible Verse Scavenger Hunt
Hide the verse cards around your home and help your kids search for them! When they find a new card, read it together with them before searching for the others. This is a fun way to burn some energy, too!
Download Your FREE Bible Verse Valentine Cards!
You can get your own Bible verse Valentine cards here. The download is 7 pages long and is in black and white with 2 hearts/verses on each page.
You can print them on any color paper you’d like – plain copy paper will work just fine. If you want to add some durability to them though, I recommend using a heavier card stock paper, or laminating them after cutting out your hearts. This is the laminator that I use for projects like this, and all our cards have held up really well!
If you enjoyed this post, I’d love if you shared it with your friends!

Hi this is Kristina visiting from Welcome to the Weekend. Your sons are so blessed to have a mother who understands the importance of scripture. These verses are great choices by the way. My favorite is 1st John 4:19.
