Happy Friday, friends! I hope you have had a great week. To be honest, I feel like I’ve been treading water a little this week. I got home Sunday from another fun girls’ weekend with my friend who is getting married in just two weeks and we’ve been non-stop around here. At least it feels that way to me.
Anyway, I’ve got a fun little round up today that includes a couple posts from other bloggers that I have particularly enjoyed this week. I’m off again this weekend to celebrate my baby sister’s wedding on Saturday and Brother-in-law’s graduation and Mother’s Day on Sunday. See? Non-stop. If you want to follow along, be sure to follow on Instagram, although I make no promises about how often I’ll be able to post.

A Mother’s Day Gift Guide for the Go-Getter Mom
This lovely Mother’s Day Gift Guide was compiled by my friend Traci over at Choosing Better. These are great gifts for the “go-getter” mom or really any mama who likes to stay organized! She’s got some great planners there and a book that I have already added to my list to read this year.
12 Verses for Moms
This post by Marquis over at Simply Clarke was so encouraging to me this week. Just simple reminders of God’s promises to us especially in this season of Motherhood. It did my heart so much good to read through these verses.
An Updated Blog Post
As I continue to work on growing this blog, I’ve been slowly working to learn more about creating more interesting graphics and updating old posts. I was able to update this post about things I learned about communicating with your spouse in our first year of marriage. These are things that I still try to practice today not only in communication with Hubs but with others as well.
A Punny Graphic
Speaking of learning to create graphics, I made this fun little gem in Canva this week. I am new to using Canva and there are so many things that I am still learning with the site, but I LOVE all the fonts that you can choose from. It is taking me a little longer to create images because I’m not as familiar with the program, but I am excited to continue learning with it.
So Many New Ideas
Finally, my head is swimming with content ideas that I want to share with you. I’ve got several thoughts about motherhood, style, and life in general that are just waiting to be written down. Now to find the time. Anybody else feel me on that?
I so appreciate those of you that are following along with Live Well Play Together. You have no idea how much I love to hear from you in the comments or in email about things you like to see on this blog. If you ever have any questions, please do not ever hesitate to reach out. I gladly respond to every single message, because I just really appreciate each one.
